The Graduate Mechanical Engineer's (GME) program will lead to the issue of Class 5 Certificate of Competency (COC), issued by the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), upon successful completion of the GME course at Singapore Maritime Academy of Singapore Polytechnic (SMA-World Class Institution). Six (6) months on-board training and to quality for Class 5 Oral Examination at MPA.

1.ADMISSION REQUIREMENT

Admission requirement is a Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Degree in Marine Engineering or its equivalent from any AICTE approved University or Colleges.

The Company (East Lodge Maritime Pte Ltd) will act on behalf of the candidate to seek eligibility for Class 5 (MEO) Certificate of Competency by writing (with all supporting documents) to the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore prior to joining the program.

All applicants must be submitted with a valid medical examination as per MPA medical fitness guidelines. All applications are subjected to MPA approval.

2.COURSE DURATION

22 Weeks GME program at Singapore Maritime Academy meets the requirements of Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore.
